Release now, ship later
alien release can now create a release without moving any channel:
alien release --no-promote --title "Fix checkout"
alien releases promote rel_7x2kq9 --channel productionThe first command prints the release ID. Nothing updates until you promote it, from the CLI or with Promote this exact release on the release page. Use it for an urgent fix you want to review first, or for a CI job that builds and a reviewed workflow that ships.
Releases also have titles now. --title names the release in the dashboard,
in Slack reports, and in rollout notifications.
